My mom wanted to make something special herself for our guests and since I had all the egg whites left from my custard for the fruit tarts, we used the egg whites to make braso de mercedes. We rolled it crosswise rather than lengthwise so it looks rather unappetizing but it was devoured in a matter of minutes. Good thing it was still delicious P:
